Fleet Foxes - "Sun it Rises"

Fleet Foxes are one of my new favorite bands. They remind so much of the beach boys with their vocal harmonies and not-so-common drum beats. You can hear the folk influence as well, especially with the lyrics about rivers and mountains. Check out "Sun it Rises" from their self titled 2008 full length released on Sub Pop Records. You can definitely hear the sun rising when you listen to this song.

Person L - Canyonlands

I've posted about 2 t-shirts, so here's some music.

I wouldn't know what genre to classify Person L in, but they are definitely good at what they do. Person L is Kenny Vasoli's (former lead singer of The Starting Line) new band. but it's not really like TSL at all. Person L plays a different style of music in every song. Their initial album so appropriately titled "Initial" has 8 songs. Listen to the tracks and you'll get an idea of what Person L is all about. My personal favorite is "Canyonlands". Listen to it and many other good jams on Ropeadope Radio.

so i've been meaning to start a blog about t-shirts and music but haven't gotten around to it. but i'm going to use this for now.
